MONDAY'S QUICK HITS

ARDREY KELL GIRLS 60, NORTHSIDE CHRISTIAN 44 -- Ardrey Kell led by 1 after the first quarter but busted the game by outscoring Northside 25-8 in the second and third quarters. Ardrey Kell held Northside to 30 percent shooting. Northside's Eleah Parker had 17 points and 12 rebounds. Ardrey Kell got 16 points, six rebounds from Jordan Muhammad, 13 points and seven rebounds from Chase Muhammad and 10 points from Darah Dewalt.

CONCORD 59, LAKE NORMAN 55 -- Northside Christian transfer Ray Kowalski had 28 points to lead Concord over a Lake Norman that was wearign Kowalski's old uniform. Lake Norman was scheduled to be the home team but wore its road blacks. Northside Christian coaches lent Lake Norman its home white jerseys. Concord's pressure defense broke open a tight game in the fourth quarter. Hunter Seacat, a 6-9 center, led Lake Norman with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Lake Norman was playing without all-state forward Kishawn Pritchett (knee), who has signed with Davidson. Pritchett said he hopes to return in January.

ST JAMES (MD) 57, PROVIDENCE DAY 50 -- St. James point guard Justin Robinson, a Virginia Tech recruit, had 23 points and nine assists as St. James withstood a late push from the Chargers to advance to the national championship game. Providence Day trimmed the lead to two late in the fourh quarter but St. James made its free throws and broke the Chargers press for a few easy breakaway scores at the end. Providence Day got 16 points and five rebounds from Josh Howard.

DILLARD (FLA) 74, NORTHSIDE CHRISTIAN 66 -- Dillard got 41 points and 16 rebounds from its inside post stars, Keion Farrington and Cedric Wright, and handed Northside its second straight loss at the tournament. Northside star Rayjon Tucker, a Florida Gulf Coast recruit, had 26 points, five rebounds and three steals. But Northside shot 42 percent and made 6-of-20 3-point attempts. Dillard shot 60.5 percent, constantly dumping the ball inside to Farmington and Wright.

NORCROSS (GA) GIRLS 39, DAVIDSON DAY 30 -- In a game where both teams shot less than 25 percent, Norcross survived. Davidson Day made a late run, outscoring Norcross 14-8 in the fourth quarter, paced by 17 points and nine rebounds from Maya Caldwell and six points and 12 rebounds from Parker Thompkins. Nor cross was led by 11 points and eight rebounds from Tylia Gillespie.

WHITE STATION (TENN) 70, LUELLA (GA) 56 -- White Station advanced to Tuesday's fifth-place game with the win, which was paced by 37 points, six rebounds and four assists from Nych Smith. Smith was 1-for-7 on 3-point attempts but made 17-of-24 of his two-point attempts. Dillion Mitchell added 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Luella got 19 points, four rebounds and four assists from Andre Banton. Luella shot 50 percent from the field.
