UNC offers Myers Park junior basketball star Rydeiah Rogers

North Carolina’s women basketball team has offered Myers Park junior Rydeiah Rogers. Rogers, a 6-1 forward shared the Observer’s All-Observer player of the year award with Providence Day’s McDonald’s All-American Jatarie White this season. Rogers led nationally ranked Myers Park to its first state championship in March, earning championship MVP in front of her father, Rodney Rogers, a former all-state high school player from Durham who went onto play at Wake Forest and in the NBA.
