Time Warner to broadcast Friday's Butler at Mallard Creek state semifinal on new sports channel

Greensboro, NC (December 2, 2013) – Time Warner Cable SportsChannel has launched new live video streaming capabilities that Time Warner Cable video customers throughout the country will be able to enjoy without geographical restrictions. 

This new service not only makes it possible for TWC video customers in North Carolina and South Carolina to watch streamed games on their personal computers, it also gives family and friends around the country who are also TWC video customers the opportunity to enjoy those games as well. 
Access to live events on the website ( will be available on laptop and desktop computers.  To enjoy this local content, users must authenticate themselves as TWC video customers by logging in with their Time Warner Cable user IDs, and then simply click on the “Watch Now” button.

This new feature will give TWC video customers access to select live local game telecasts, as well as a library of games from the previous year which includes up to twenty full-length matchups.  The website also includes a section with program schedules specific to regions throughout the country, along with original show pages with information on locally-based programming.  In addition, the live streaming feature will include high school game statistics, box scores and play-by-play action as it happens.
