West Meck's Nikki Roach rolls to ME-GA 7 4A tennis title

West Mecklenburg’s Nikki Roach beat teammate Chelsea Thompson to win the ME-GA 7 4A tennis championship Tuesday. Roach won 6-0, 6-0.

Roach defeated East Gaston’s Abby Breakfield 6-0, 6-0 in the semis after earning a bye in the first round.

In doubles, East Gaston’s Erika Noblett and Jodie Winchester beat Olympic’s Shanel Smith and Michelle Anderson 6-2, 6-0 to win the league title.
