Davidson Day repeats as 2A state soccer champs

Davidson Day beat Caldwell Academy 4-3 in the N.C. Independent Schools 2A state championship game Saturday.

It was Davidson Day's second straight NCISAA championship.

Davidson Day (19-4-4) was the No. 2 overall seed in the playoffs, behind Caldwell Academy (19-2-2).

In the postseason, Davidson Day won three playoff games by a combined 9-0 before surrendering its first playoff goal Saturday.

It's amazing that all of these athletes are starting to end up at Davidson Day. The price of housing around Lake Norman must be seriously down........
