SW 4A - Why did the Myers Park Kicker not get conference. He beat out the Rocky River kicker on EVERYTHING!!!!!!

Hey I agree on the 4A kicker comment. Myers Park kid was tops. All I can say is politics SUCK!

MC Oline should all be on this. dont understand how they pick this stuff. and wasnt the myers park kicker the one that had tackles all season? list just dont seem right.

"Here are the all-conference teams for CMS conferences as voted on by the league coaches."

Coaches vote, that's how they pick

couple guys from Olympic robbed on this list in my opinion.

The post that just said that the CMS coaches pick.... like the other post said, politics SUCK. Whoever posted that must know they (or someone they know) did not deserve to make the list. Why even keep stats if they dont mean anything. Congrats to the people on the list but come on, include everyone that deserves to be there like some players from Olympic, Independence, and Myers Park that didn't get on it.

I remember when making all conference was a big achievement. No longer is that true. Its about some coaches personal feelings toward certain players and other politics.(My opinion!!)So players that didn't make the team, don't fret, the only thing you missed out on was getting your name in the paper.

I just looked at maxpreps.com and compared the kicking stats for both Rocky River (Book) and Myers Park (Cimaglia). I don't understand. Do these coaches not look at these things?? Cimaglia had the higher stats for everything AND had 5 tackles for the season.Obviously, stats do not mean much. These players put in the time and effort to log these stats and ignoring them is ridiculous. Either way, congratulations to Rocky River's kicker. He had a good season as well and this is not meant to take anything away from him.

# Vance QB and there DB#10 made all coference???????? Come on Man?
This I meck all coference is a Joke. Some of these players that made it for Vance would not start on some JV Teams...lol

Wow, kinda surprised that David Moore and Malachi Hanes didnt make SW4A defensive backs. Two great players who made huge plays all year. Hanes played with a bloody/broken nose at Page, the kid refused to leave the game!! Too bad that kind of "all conference" play isnt popular with who ever picks this stuff.

I gotta agree that #6(Malachi)for butler made plays all year. Dont believe he was not picked. Whats up wit the coaches? and y'all news people kept calling him stribling everytime he did something good. If I was him I would be mad.

OL 4A picks what a JOKE!!! I hate seeing kids getting screwed out of what they have earned. No Hanes?? I think I remember similar with his brother, a couple of years ago...

This list is a joke!!! Coaches use their personal opinions of kids and hold it against the kids when the time comes for situations like this one.Taking nothing from L.Hood at rocky river but he got killed for TD's all season and N.Evans 3int's 2 for scores (cb #21) didn't make this list along with the top scoring wr J.Nunn( #6) and K.Rankin(lb#15)rankin had blocked punts and forced fumbles this is not about the coaches its about the kids.Student/Athletes coaches don't ruin a kids chances because you dislike him this is terrible

Every one posting comments is a joke. Instead of congratulating these players your complaining on what your opinion is. And not all stats are put on max preps so they don't go off of that. Its based on what they see. They myers parks kicking was good but in his hang time on kick offs was not the same

If players that worked their tales off this year like Indys de, j.sommersel (#92)of indys dt, bennett boateng (#93)or rockys danny dunning dont make it imma be upset.
