Once again, there is NO school named Catawba Bandys.It is simply named Bandys High School. If you all feel the need to let everyone know exactly where the school is located, then simply list them by the school name followed by the town name in parentheses. Such as Bandys (Catawba). It's such a simple thing to do, yet you all seem to want to make this more difficult than it has to be. And it would be so much easier for your readers to find what they are looking for. Isn't that what you all want anyway? To make things simple?

Trojan Fan 67: Putting Catawba in front of Bandys is the simple way to do it. That's the way it has been done for more than 50 years, it isn't an Observer decison.

@TrojanFan

When you have a team whose title is "West Charlotte" or "North Henderson", it is pretty obvious where the school is located. For some fans, to hear the school named "Bandys" might throw out a few questions. None more asked than, "Where the heck is that at?" Well, putting Catawba in front explains that question for us!

There is also no "BELMONT South Point" or no "RALEIGH Broughton" high schools either but you don't hear them complaining and whining about it either.

For a fan whose team is merely "receiving votes", your opinion does not matter and you are less important in the world.
