Olympic punter Cason Beatty offered by Florida State

Olympic High quarterback/punter Cason Beatty has been offered a scholarship by Florida State, Trojans coach Barry Shuford told the Observer.

Beatty, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound rising senior, threw for more than 800 yards last season as a quarterback. As a punter, he had four punts over 60 yards and averaged 43.5 yards per attempt.
