Olympic punter Cason Beatty commits to Florida State

One day after being offered by Florida State, Olympic High punter Cason Beatty committed to the Seminoles, Olympic coach Barry Shuford told the Observer.


Beatty, a 6-foot-3, 225-pound rising senior, threw for more than 800 yards last season as a quarterback. As a punter, he had four punts over 60 yards and averaged 43.5 yards per attempt.
