Mallard Creek OL DJ Humphries named No. 3 prospect in nation by Rivals

Recruiting website rivals.com has released its 2012 top 100 ranking of high school football prospects and Mallard Creek offensive lineman D.J. Humphries was ranked No. 3 overall.

Humphries, a 6-foot-5, 270-pound junior, was listed behind Springfield, MO, wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham and Denton, TX defensive end Mario Edwards.

Humphries is the nation's top recruit at his position, according to the website.

-- Boiling Springs Crest defensive end Jonathan Bullard was No. 16 overall on the list. Raleigh running back Keith Marshall of Millbrook is No. 55. Others included Lexington (S.C.) DB Shaq Rowland (No. 63); Forest City Chase defensive tackle Carlos Watkins (No. 76).
