Myers Park kicker named to U.S. Army All-American team

Myers Park kicker Miller Snyder has been named to the U.S. Army All-America team. He's one of 90 players nationally invited and the second from Mecklenburg County.

Butler linebacker Kris Frost was named last month.

Snyder has an offer from Columbia and interest from N.C. State, North Carolina and Vanderbilt

In the Army game, Synder is expected to punt and possibly kickoff.

Snyder - you could become part of football's best in the ACC with the Wolfpack. It is obvious NC State needs a kicker - you could get playing time right away. It's a no brainer... get yourself a top notch engineering or textile degree, become the scoring leader for one of the top teams in the ACC... Columbia looks good on paper, but you are an ATHLETE! Take the opportunity to play big time sports - you're only young once! Wolfpack Nation needs you!
