Week 2 of Playoffs

North Carolina 

Butler 35, Page 14 (Final): Final Stats: Jahwan Edwards 18 carries, 97 yards, 2 TDs; Riley Ferguson 14-21, 262 yards, 2 TDs; Uriah LeMay 4 catches, 124 yards, 2 TDs. Butler faces Richmond next week (at Richmond). Butler knocked off Richmond 21-7 earlier in the year at Memorial Stadium. Page with 66 total yards and 3 first downs. Austin Stewart returned the onside kick return 60 yards for Butler. Earlier, Page's James Summers scores his 2nd TD, an 8-yard TD run. In the 3rd, Summers hit Orlando Hatfield with a 9-yard TD pass. Mallard Creek 49, Ardrey Kell 23 (Final): The Knights have recovered an onside kick. Marquise Williams not playing 100 percent with sprained ankle, but leads Mavericks to another TD (3:36 in 3rd) after Knights' TD pass pulls them to within 18 with 5:35 left in the 3rd. Ardrey Kell's Justus Pickett returned the opening kickoff in the 2nd half for a TD. Marquise Williams reportedly has a high ankle sprain but has returned in the 2nd half.

Catholic 58, Weddington 14 (Final): With 8 minutes left in the game, Catholic has 383 yards rushing as a team. Halftime stats: Catholic RB Steven Bevilacqua with 172 yards on 13 carries and 3 TDs (including a 69-yarder). Catholic as a team has 187 yards of offense.

Vance 17, Hopewell 7 (Final): Larenz Bryant 116, 24 carries, 1 TD. Ryan Stewart with a INT return for TD. Corey Dennis with a 33-yard FG. Larenz Bryant 5 carries for 95 yards and a TD. His first TD run was set up by a high snap on a Hopwell punt, recovered by Vance at the Hopewell 5.

Berry 47, Unionville Piedmont 7 (Final):  Berry 75 yards in penalties, Piedmont 0. A 10-yard run by Germine Hopper with 3:18 left in half. Hopper with an 88-yard TD run plus Kenny Patterson 2-point conversion.

Wow! That was a great rugby games stat! I just hope the Raiders can make another history!
I'm excited to share a great stat in our next Women's Rugby League assembly. We are up to a league before the end of this year; I hope our team and the Raiders are in good spot!
