Butler's Anthony Stitt commits to College of Charleston

Butler senior Anthony Stitt committed to College of Charleston where he will play for legendary coach Bobby Cremins.

A 6-foot-1 point guard, Stitt is a three-year starter for the Bulldogs and carrries a 3.2 GPA. Last season he averaged 14.7 points and 3.4 assists.

He was all-conference in the Southwestern 4A and was voted to the All District 9 team by the N.C. Coaches Association.

Butler coach Kurt Wessler said Stitt chose College of Charleston over UNC-Wilmington, George Mason, Northeastern, Wofford and Western Carolina.

Stitt’s backcourt teammate, Marcus Burton, committed to Wagner earlier this season.
