Wes Medeiros' 32-yard FG adds to the Christian lead at the end of the 3rd quarter. Earlier: Buddy Craft scores on a 34-yard pass from Mattias Farle; Desmond Lawrence adds a 7-yard TD run for Charlotte Christian. Garrett Honeycutt's 69-yard punt return gives Christian a 27-8 lead on Victory Christian in second quarter. Craft's 1-yard plunge pushes Christian to 20-0 advantage, but the Kings respond with Sanchez Kennedy's 99-yard kick return TD. Simms McElfresh scored from 5 yards out to give Charlotte Christian a 7-0 lead.

First assembly not doing too well after mike minter ran his mouth to langston 2 weeks ago about other private schools not wanting to play them.Looks like the big boys are "schooling" minter on how to eat crow.Minter should know of all people not to run his mouth and give out locker room bulletein board material for the other coaches.
Maybe we will finally get some relief from the daily First Assembly articles. They have now lost to the two lesser regarded private school teams. And badly.
Minter's an idiot and Langston bows down to him. They play nobody and when they play half decent teams they get killed. Latin, Country Day, and Catholic would beat them by 50 on the scoreboard and by 100 in class.
I think teams don't want to play FA because Minter runs a classless program. I feel sorry for the kids and the school because of the program he runs.
Minter teaches his kids to play dirty as well. His sons the dirtiest. Hes worshipped at Kings Way. Need to wake up people. This is not a good guy or a role model.
