Indy's Geiler: Bye week comes at a good time

Independence coach Bill Geiler is happy that his team is off this week before playing S.C. power Rock Hill South Pointe Sept.3 at home.

The Patriots lost 26-6 to Mallard Creek last week and looked sluggish on offense. Geiler said his team has to get the ball to its playmakers and keep its offense on the field longer. Mallard Creek outgained Independence 404 to 196.

"The bye comes at a good time," Geiler said. "We'll correct mistakes. We're going to get better.

"These guys are committed and they showed up on time (Saturday morning) ready to work, and all we did was look at film. I think we'll come together and hopefully make the playoffs and maybe see Mallard Creek again."

What play maker? He would first have to learn how to catch. Maybe Indy can suit up Jeffro with the
with the combact boots?

What play maker? Nobody on there team could catch.

Well, we wouldn't know if anyone could catch b/c the QB couldn't get it anywhere near a receiver. There's problem #1. Remove Guest and go with #2 for a try. Can't be much worse.

Hello!!!! The QB needs to be replaced. Stevie Wonder could see that. You have an undefeated JV QB standing on the sideline...You may want to insert here!

You guys are the reason noone with a life gets on blogs. Being anonymous makes everyone bold and absurd....and wrong. Coach Brand, get off the blogs and coach...or better yet call players on other teams.

I think the only coachs on here are actually INdy coaches...Maybe if they would stop blogging hatred, they might win a game...You have coaches from Indy saying they are coaches at INDY blogging.....isn't that the purpose of anonymous, BOOTS, stop telling people you are on here talking on blogs, boots.....lmfao.......are you guys that dumb? BOOTS!!!!!!!! P.S. Boots, you need a new pair of boots,Boots!!!!!!!!thank god I transffered to Butler!!!!!!!!

Coach Geiler needs no justification of his abilities. All those points scored by those fabulous Indy offenses of Knotts would be impossible if Geiler's defense didn't stop the other team. His career "points against" average from 2000-2009 (minus 2005)is 9.2. By the way, that is the best in the STATE. I may be prejudiced though, since I am his brother.

THE GUY THAT WAS CRITICIZING COACH BOOTS, YOU WAS PROBABLY A SCAB @ INDY. YOU TRANSFERED TO BUTLER CAUSE YOU COULDNT NO PLAYING TIME @ INDY. IF YOU WERE A TRUE BALLER YOU WOULD BE PLAYING INSTEAD OF BLOGGING!! GET A LIFE!!

I agree with Fatty McFat...I feel that if you are a player and you have the time to blog about what Indy did or didn't do for you than you are a scab. You were probably one of those Third Sting JV guys that the Coaches put into the game just to see what you can do...and since you transfered to Butt-town i guess you let the coaches down....tisk tisk tisk, Get a life Bruh
