Panthers WR Dwayne Jarrett to host free prep camp

Carolina Panthers receiver Dwayne Jarrett will host a free football camp for serious players at Hopewell June 26.

The camp is open to the first 300 that register at active.com

Participants will perform agility drills, offensive and defensive fundamentals broken down by position and 7-on-7 passing drills. The camp is open for boys entering grades 8-12 for the 2010-11 school year. It also includes lunch and recruiting seminar.

Is this post satirical on purpose?

Open to serious players? Dwayne, you can host the camp but you might want to stay at home.

Offensive fundamentals broken down by position? Well, I won't even go the WR route because that's too easy. Dwayne can teach the kids on the basic fundamentals of getting dressed and keeping clean.

I'm not sure which is funnier, Jarrett hosting a "Serious" fundamentals camp, or Eric Shelton hosting am agility camp in Weddington this weekend!

I just got back from the Ryan Leaf QB camp and it was a blast, I can't wait to go to this one also. Next I am going to go to the Scott Norwood clutch kicking camp. Woooooo

come on people let's give him the benefit of the doubt here. maybe with the absence of moose and all these younger guys coming in to battle for positions it's lit a fire under dwayne. let's try and support the guy. at least until he gets cut.
