Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools athletics director Vicki Hamilton will be honored Wednesday at the fifth annual Girls Scouts and Hornets Nest Council Women of Distinction luncheon at the Hilton Charlotte Center City Wednesday.
Hamilton will be honored for achievement in sports, health and fitness.
Hamilton, now in her 16th year, was the first female city/county AD in North Carolina. She’s a member of the N.C. High School Athletics Directors Hall of Fame.
