Berry's girls win Rocky River tournament championship

Berry's girls dominated North Stanly 45-35 to win the Rocky River tournament championship Friday at Piedmont.

It was Berry's first tournament championship and was the school's 17th win in a row.

Sophomore Alicia Quinn had 14 points and 22 rebounds. She had four blocks and three steals. Her sister, Milan, had 10 rebounds. Berry outrebounded North Stanly 57-29.

Berry led 23-19 at halftime but busted the game open with a 15-0 fourth quarter run. Berry is 23-4.
