Country Day missed a field goal with 0.6 seconds left in regulation. ....headed to overtime tied at 17 with Charlotte Latin.

Country Day rallied to tie it at 17 against Charlotte Latin on Chris Shembo's 48-yard touchdown run...three minutes left....winner goes to state title game next Friday.

Charlotte Latin takes a 17-10 lead against Country Day on Jalen Ross's 1-yard touchdown run with four minutes left...Ross has two touchdown runs.

Charlotte Christian, reigning state champion, is back in the final with a 45-22 romp against Raleigh Ravenscroft in the semifinal.

Surging Country Day scored 10 straight to tie Charlotte Latin 10-10...Morgan Roberts tied it with a 7-yard scoring pass to Miles Boardman.

Kannapolis Brown's Travis Riley has rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries, and the Wonders lead 16-7 against Concord Robinson.

Independence's Anthony Carrothers is 16-of-20 passing for 233 yards and two touchdowns, and has rushed for two scores.

Charlotte Latin, leading 10-0, has limited Country Day to 56 yards in the first half.

Independence has 36 points at halftime...Anthony Carrothers is 11-of-13 passing for 169 yards and two scores... Nyjee Fleming has run for two touchdowns and caught another.... The Patriots - despite East Forsyth's prevent defense - went 78 yards in three plays, scoring in the final 23 seconds of the first half.

His arm's gotta be getting tired - Butler's Christian LeMay has five touchdown passes in the first half against West Charlotte.

Independence's Nyjee Fleming has three first-half touchdowns. Patriots are stomping East Forsyth 28-7.

Butler's Christian LeMay has four touchdown passes, and it's not even halftime....Bulldogs are crushing West Charlotte 31-6.

Charlotte Christian leads 38-14 at halftime against Raleigh Ravenscroft, which obviously forgot to pack its defense on the bus ride over....Christian's Simms McElfresh scored on an 88-yard kickoff return, and Matthias Farley has two touchdown catches.

Another week, another Butler beatdown....it's 24-0 against West Charlotte, early in the second period. Lions headed to a losing season.

Independence's Anthony Carrothers has thrown for a score and run for another. Patriots lead East Forsyth 14-0.

Jalen Ross's 38-yard touchdown run in the first quarter gave Charlotte Latin a 7-0 lead against Country Day.

Providence's Chauncey Concepcion threw a 70-yard touchdown pass to Braxton Deaver, and the Panthers lead Vance 7-6.

Butler's Christian LeMay is 8-of-11 passing for 89 yards, including a 26-yard touchdown to Nate Charest. Bulldogs lead West Charlotte 7-0.

Westminster didn't score. Harrells defense was too tough. Several fumbles on the Harrells side of the field, but WCCS could not convert them.
