Salisbury: 29-3 state champions are back with nearly the entire team in tact.
Girls’ Notables
-- Dropping down to 2A could be as good for Berry’s girls as it was for Berry’s football team, which made the playoffs. The team adds two 6-footers from middle school to four returning starters, including Baucom and 6-2 sophomore Alicia Quinn (10 ppg, nine rpg, five bpg). Look for the team to improve on last year’s 8-17 record.
Salisbury added 6-2 East Rowan transfer Olivia Rankin, who joins adding to 5-11 Jessica Heilig and 5-10 Isis Miller.
