Of course it'd be fun for Butler to play the private schools. They would kill them. Independence and Butler are on a different level. Country Day and Latin can beat (and have beaten) teams like Crest, Catholic, Northwestern. Based on evidence, they could (could, not would) beat teams like Myers Park, Providence and West Charlotte. Independence and Butler are a different animal though. And no, Christian couldn't beat them either, Christian can't even beat Jireh Prep.

I mean, what's the real difference between Jireh Prep and Christian? Both teams feature 5th year seniors, and all of their stars started off at different schools.

It would be fun for Butler to crush them and silence the critics. Too bad we will never get to play in BOA Stadium. The football these young people play would be better than watching that Panther team.

ok jireh prep was good so you cant say that as if christian lost to some terrible team

there are no 5th year seniors on CCS' football team. The conference wont allow it especially considering there was major conflict with a student in conference was denied a deserved 5th year

Butlers big winning days might be numbered, even though they always choke on the big ones, when they open the the new Mint Hill HS in 2010 that Mint Hill students wont be attending but going to Indy who will also be hurt.

Looks like the new school will get all the talent so its concieveable that Knotts may tranfser there.
