Southwestern 4A and regional tennis teams

Ardrey Kell’s Roy Hudson and Knights player Alex Calott are the Southwestern 4A coach and player of the year.

The N.C. High School Tennis Association All-State 3A Team: Trey McKee (Lake Norman); Nick James (Wilson Fike); Kyle Johnson (Charlotte Catholic); Andrew McKinnon (Lake Norman); Nick Bursch (Charlotte Catholic); Matt Sandberg (Charlotte Catholic); Sean Huber (Charlotte Catholic); Jordan Klochany (Charlotte Catholic);
Tripp Hawkins (Statesville); Parks Thompson (Statesville); Andrew Treske (Marvin Ridge); Andrew Baird (Marvin Ridge)

Note: No area players made the 4A team. Newton-Conover’s Won Lak Choi and Hang Lak Choi made the 2A team. Albemarle’s Akash Dadlani and Highland Tech’s Peter Terrio and Robb Stover made the 1A team.
