Ardrey Kell, Lake Norman grab wins in state 4A and 3A baseball

Ardrey Kell grabbed a 1-0 lead in its best of 3 series with Raleigh Sanderson with a 9-5 win Friday night in the 4A state championship series.

In the 3A final, Lake Norman beat Eastern Wayne 9-2.

Both teams will try to win state titles with wins in Game 2 today at 2 p.m. Ardrey Kell plays at N.C. State; Lake Norman at Mudcats Stadium in Zebulon.
