Charlotte Catholic in rugby title game

It will be lacrosse's version of a Super Bowl.

At 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Raleigh Rugby Club, Charlotte Catholic (the N.C. high school champion) will play the Chapel Hill Highlanders, the under-19 club state champion

Both teams were dominant during their seasons.

Charlotte Catholic (6-1) outscored opponents 264-55. The Highlanders (4-0) won every game by shutout, and scored 140 points.

Both teams were champions in their respective divisions at the South Regional tournament in Tennessee two weeks ago.

Both teams also will travel to Pittsburgh for the Elite Eight national tournament next week.

I'm pretty sure that lacrosse is a big enough sport to have it's own version of a super bowl. I don't think a state title game in a different sport qualifies...

Awesome! This was the time when my cousin, Hendricks, got hooked with rugby games. He usually brags to my Mom and Dad that he got some nice downloaded rugby games match in his computer every time we visit their place. Since I'm the only girl in the family, my favorite include women's rugby league games. Thanks for the incredible post, Langston!
