Providence and Ardrey Kell, the top two baseball teams in Southwestern 4A, will play at 7 p.m. today at Providence.

At stake is first place in the conference.

Providence won the first meeting - 10-7 in nine innings on March 26.

Two of the state's top pitchers are epxected to start. Ardrey Kell's Alex Wood (he's unbeaten) is a Georgia signee. Providence's Richie Shaffer, expected to be chosen fairly high in the Major League Draft in June, has a shutout and a save in two games since returning from hand surgery three weeks ago.
