Rock Hill South Pointe’s Stephon Gilmore (right) was named a first-team “all-purpose” player on the EA Sports All-American football team, which was released Tuesday.
Gilmore, a quarterback/defensive back who has committed to South Carolina, led the Stallions (15-0) to a state title. He rushed for 1,331 yards and 23 touchdowns, and passed for 1,771 yards and 14 scores.
Rock Hill Northwestern’s Justin Worley (6-3, 180) was named quarterback on EA Sports’ Sophomore All-American team. He passed for 50 touchdowns and 3,641 yards.
