CMS events to move from Jan. 13 to Jan. 12

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is moving all athletic events, including basketball games, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 13 to Monday, Jan. 12 because of a revised exam schedule.

CMS changed the exam schedule because of the Jan. 20 presidential inauguration.

The changes mean that the basketball game between Sweet 16 No. 1 Vance and No. 2 Hopewell will now be played Monday, Jan. 12, at Hopewell.

Note: The Concord Robinson at North Mecklenburg game, scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 13, has been moved to Monday, Jan. 26.
