West Charlotte's Grier playing recruiting game

West Charlotte linebacker Brandon Grier (above), a Shrine Bowl player this week, has offers from Winston-Salem State, Catawba and Pembroke, his father, Bobby, told the Observer.

Grier recently took the SAT and some bigger schools are awaiting his test scores, Bobby Grier said.

Brandon Grier is planning to visit Coastal Carolina and Western Carolina but may also visit East Carolina and N.C. State, which have sent him handwritten recruiting letters.

"It's a waiting game right now," Bobby Grier said.

The school that gets this kid will be lucky!! He is a great linebacker that just didn't get the credit like others in the area.
Good luck BG....Coach Rich
