ESPNU to show Shrine Bowl on Jan. 7

The Shrine Bowl and ESPNU reached an agreement to televise Saturday’s all-star game on a delayed basis, at 10 p.m. Jan. 7.

The benefit game, which matches North Carolina’s top 44 seniors against 44 from South Carolina, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wofford’s Gibbs Stadium in Spartanburg. The Shrine Bowl, established in 1937, is the oldest high school all-star game in America.

Proceeds from the game go to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
